My Pico De Loro Experience
This blog is simple telling my experience during my stay here. Nothing new and nothing unique, but, as everybody knows what Pico de Loro is. Still a worth of one time fun.

Pico de Loro, Hamilo
Coast is located in Nasugbu, Batangas, Owned by SM Prime Corporation
famously known as SM super malls. It took only 4 hours of driving from our home
Quezon City near at the Capital by Cavitex route.

Along with the
beautiful greeny environment, (it was so damn relaxing), there you will go through the
tunnel. You are almost there, approximately, 15 mins more.

It was weekend when
we booked here. We fall in a long queue for unaccompanied guest. This was the 1st reception where we validate our identity. I was
getting ready with our money but we were told to proceed to the Country Club.
Too confusing, maybe those guest are only for day tours.
And we had a lot of
stops, we went to different reception until we were at the right one. There we
met Ms. Nicole Voll for managing the unit we booked.

It was Php 1.300.00 each guest and we were given a purple tag for our purpose of stay.
Before Ms. Nicole let us go, she orient us what are the don'ts and do's based on our tags. I honestly, lost the original leaf let she gave which she wrote the guide, so, this so far I could remember.

And finally we are in
our place. It’s a studio unit but big enough for one big family. It’s a maximum
of 7 guest with lots of extra bed inside of the closet. Well it is cozy, not the typical unit we used to see in Metro Manila.
We had our lunch and hurried a bit, because, the beach closes by 6pm and it was already 3. At first, we didn’t not take the shuttle this time. We were advised to take a walk and enjoy the lagoon view. It is so beautiful to roam in
the greeny landscape of their lagoon.

So it rained when we
got there, lucky for me who hates the sun, had a fun time in the beach. Somebody told us that sea creatures can be seen. Well of course, fishes but, what I meant was Jellyfish. 😕

I was the first one to go back so that, I could prepare things for me.
After the dinner, I
intended to get up even it was so tiring. I did not want to waste my time on this big place by sleeping too much, so we headed to the pool at the Country Club for the first time. I have to maximize as much as I could, because, we don’t have enough time for every free access we have on our tag.

I only had 4 hours of sleep from back home up to our 2nd day. It think it was enough for a traveler.
You don’t want to spend the rest of your time sleeping. Right?

Good Morning Pico and woke up at 6:00 am
There's nothing better than visiting the calm beach early in the morning. I was planning to get ready by 5am, because, 6am is the start of beach access for every guest, but, it was really tough to manage your time during beach days.

Our 2nd and last time in the beach. Still the water is not clear, but, most people says that the beach was beautiful when it's not Amihan Season (refers to the season dominated by the trade winds).
Though, we enjoy the super huge waves rushing to us.
For our last stop, we shuttled back to Country Club Pool.

I was not even planning to take the pool, just roam around and leave them, but, swimming is refreshing.

Everybody
was getting ready and I had a spare time to roam just little more for selfies. I took
a lot. And finally, we are out of the unit by 12pm, my father suggested to
extend an hour for our stay. Check in time is 2pm and check out is 11am, painful
for Php 5,500.00 per night, right?
Actually, we have a lot of time to do things like free access on our tags, playing in the
court, board games, going to the gym and maybe roam around a little more. So, we
decided to have lunch before doing it.

I’m
a literal picky into eating foods, especially, that if you are traveler you may want
to try something new. And I did not complain at all, having for Lunch with this
best and affordable deal they have been offering in Lagoa's Best is worth it for Php 2,400.00 good for 5.

decided to dine at the beach.

Here
at the beach we came by 12 and ordered by 12:30 pm. It was timely for a lunch
that we have an ample time to roam the entire resort and to have a little play
at board games area.

So, it was almost end
of this blog and I surely want to satisfy you guys what went here. But,
this was all it, and as I have said, it was my experience, so I made it pretty
honest to you about.
It took 2 hours for us
to wait our lunch. I don’t know what happened, but, it just ruined our day. We
were only 5 tables to serve for and this happened. Waiters and captain
seemingly and overhearing their struggles on what happen to the order they’ve
sent. My mom and me decided to cancel it but patiently waited for a couple of
minutes. Surely, don’t want to judge people by taking orders that wasn’t for
them, but, sometimes … really, on this day?!
You can’t really
control the things around you, though, it was a good lesson for us. We have
agreed that we should have dined at Lagos’ Restaurant, inside the Country Club,
instead here. They should have sticked to the plan for it has lesser price on
the menu. Ah! The time was gone, I have so much things like photos and plays to
do.

My conclusion:
To sum it all, it was
satisfactory. Owners have complained that it’s getting crowded. So the
management divided the people from places that we aren’t allowed to like
infinity pool by the beach. If you were going to think like, “what if the
owners of the unit where there all together living? Logically, it will be
crowded. Here in the Philippines, or maybe in the whole globe, Condominiums are
not just design for a living but for an investment or an asset. It was really
for renting business.
With that being said,
I was still thankful that we came to this place for a vacation. It’s still
considered as a luxury resort and our first time so yeah, it is worth it for me
that I didn’t pay anything. And yes, I’m not going back, it’s good to spend
money on another new places.
Note: You need money and
extra money for this place.
Better to bring
everything, even their coffee in their convenience store is costly. I
understand in a business world when you put prices higher on your products, the
mindset is, it is high standard. But for me, with the same value you can get
somewhere for a lower price is well appreciated to your customer. Satisfied customer is still a winner. Elitist style,
just for you to say it is classy, not even impress.
