My first step in Sorsogon, Bicol.

It's my first time to reach the end of Luzon Island for 25 years of visiting to our province Bicol.

Sometimes, it is so weird that we have not yet visited beautiful places that is so accessible from us. So, another memorable first time just happened.

My family usually visit my grandfather every year from the Capital to a 12 hours long drive Legazpi City, Albay. A 2 hours drive more to Sorsogon, Bicol.

He went home with my youngest brother for another vacation to reunited with his old buddies.

This was the first time I had stepped foot from Sorsogon for so long since I was born.

We took only 5 memorable stops from this simple city.

1st Stop, Jane's Restaurant

Let me introduce you one the best restaurant I've ever eaten here. It was Jane's fastfood. Their food was really tasty and satisfying. Every bite was worth for a hungry tummy. This I like the most in provinces. There were a lot of  like this serving in perfection. 

Better not to crave with your known favourite fast foods, because, there is so much more to taste for.

2nd Stop, Rizal Beach, Gubat, Sorsogon.

After dining with those delicious meal, we had a night at this beach resort. Sadly, we were told to visit the famous surfing area in Gubat, Sorsogon. If only we knew, we would come, but, it was a good place to be here too.

Our Lodging

My father told us that our Lodging looks like a hospital ward.

This was the rest of the area. They have souvenir shops complete on every item you need and a restaurant for your food to be served fresh.

It's day two already, we had eaten up, took our last swim and bought souvenirs.

3rd stop, Bulusan Volcano Natural Park

Bulusan Volcano Natural Park as a huge ark of entrance for you to see it clearly. It's not totally a Lake, It's an active volcano (unfortunately, covering the clouds). 3,673 Hectare forest. It was said that it could hiked the entire trail leading to the summit of Volcano.

There's a lot of activities can be done here such as Kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming and many more. That's what our tour guide told us.

It was hot sunny day, if you want for boating it's better to bring your huge sombrero to protect your sensitive face.

 Of course, local government need funds to maintain the beauty of the tourist area. An entrance fee will be collected and additional fee if you want to take the trail for your tour guide. 

And it's time for 500 meters walk. This is the shortest trail and the second was the longest. Well, we were with the old buddies so.

This is the end view of the lake. It's a circular water form. And the end of trail.

There were people fishing and swimming in the area. So, I think they would really allowed people to stay here even overnight for camping as long you plan ahead for the government knew there were people staying inside the park.

This is the trail going towards the hanging bridge and was an additional fee for that.

This was called a suicide bird.

And the last activity for this tour.

Hanging bridge has another expenses, a 100 per head will be collected.

And that was the end of our Bulusan Lake tour and after that we headed back to Legazpi City.

The bridge was deadly guys. It's a rope and too high from the ground.

And Lastly, for this day our 4th and final stop in Sorsogon. This is what I like the best in travelling. You surely don't want to eat repetitive foods when you're far away.

This is the end of our Sorsogon trip as first timers.

And before ending it totally, I said that we had 5 stops, right?!
Well, this is the 5th stop that we had on Sorsogon trip, but, happened after a week.
It was a different travel this time. We came to the very point of Luzon Island and was going to VISAYAS for an Eastern Samar tour.
